Poem 4 - her mother

Postby jjsledge » Sat Feb 09, 2008 7:37 am

A prayer warrior, a singer of songs
Raised five kids taught them right from wrong.
Even praised by her daughter-in-law.
A witness in life, a memorial in death.
Many came to remember. Many came to praise.
Tears of joy, not grief were shed,
For all realized that though she was dead,
They'd meet her again, as the Lord said.
Loved by one. Loved by all.
Kind of short to walk so tall.

No stereotypical in-law conflicts here, I see. :D
