The Resiliency of Youth

Postby Petros » Tue Jan 03, 2017 9:47 am

Last night a call from the Lad, on his way back to Colorado after his Christmas / New Year visit. Just as he got into Colorado, his alternator died and he was immobile. Mind you, it worked better than it might - he was near civilization not in the wasteland, a police car pushed him off the highway, he is booked - thanks AAA into a repair shop and was at a motel that allowed his canine passenger to stay.

Could have been MUCH worse. But - he needs prayer for the rest of the trip and relable wheels.

Update - of course the part was not in town. When it arrives sometime this morning it should take about an hour to get it in. Of course the friend who was going to pick him up never showed.

The friend who "never showed" actually showed quite a bit about himself.

All's well that ends well. Today the part came, and was quickly installed, and despite slow traffic and an inadequate heater he made it safely home.

Thanks for prayers.
