Warren, see about opening the image in Paint if you use Windows or Preview if you use a Mac, and then adjusting the size to, say 25% the current dimensions.

In Paint, click the Resize button and enter 25 into one of the boxes, and make sure the option to maintain aspect ratio is checked. Click OK and then do File->Save As to make a copy.

In Preview, you will want to make a copy beforehand. Do File->Duplicate to save a copy, then do Tools->Adjust Size. Change the "pixels" option to "percent," make sure the lock next to the dropdown looks locked (instead of unlocked; this preserves the aspect ratio), and then enter 25 into one of the boxes. Do File->Save to make sure the it saved your change.

Finally, try re-uploading the file here! Hope this helps.

Hey natman, any of those would work! I tried shrinking my image in Paint, and even though I saved it as a jpg, it seems our "img /img" code shortcuts will only accept files from the web, and not my personal files.

You have to upload it to your personal photo album or attach it to a post. Then you can copy the link (right-click on the image and select "copy image location") to attach it to your signature etc.

This is an example of me linking to the images from the prior post:
