Hallo

Postby Colin23 » Mon May 11, 2020 2:44 pm

I have only just discovered this website. I am a retired minister of the Church of England. Before all churches were closed because of the Corona virus, I was officiating every Sunday in a small local church. I am divorced and live alone except for my dog. In the past, I have regularly visited naturist beaches when I lived near them and I have enjoyed holidays at naturist resorts with my wife before we separated and subsequently with a friend before she died. Fortunately, my backyard is not overlooked, and so I can sunbathe as nature intended, but it is no longer possible for me to share nudity with others.

Welcome brother
I pastored a number of years before divorce. Baptist don’t think to highly of divorced pastors
I’ve learned a great deal here and on other sites similar to this one...

Welcome and God bless

Welcome Colin. I've not been here in awhile, primarily due to Covid-19. My eight year old granddaughter has been out of school since before the virus hit and schools, along with many other activities/locations were shut down. As an eight year old, she pretty much has dominated my phone and I've not taken the time to log in on the PC. It's nice to read your introduction, though I'm sorry for your divorce and loss of your friend, and i'm glad you've joined us here.

I look forward to reading more from you.

Welcome, Colin, from a farmer in northern Illinois. I'm not a pastor, but have been active in church leadership in many ways, led worship, given sermons, etc, in my Mennonite church.

Colin, I welcomed you in response to a question you posed elsewhere, prior to seeing your introduction here but will again offer my much belated welcome from Las Vegas, Nevada. I'm certainly glad to see you've been welcomed by others here, far more than in response to the question you posed in the other post regarding nude beaches/sunbathing in the UK.

Sorry, I realized after submitting this I did greet you here early on but couldn’t find a way to delete this post.

Salutations from South Carolina, Colin. I hope you will enjoy our conversation and join in. I too am a former minister, with the Assemblies of God. I did not retire however, but rather left with a serious case of burnout, and while I would consider another ministry position, it does not seem that the Lord is leading that way. For now we are content where he has us. I look forward to your insight
If, when we judged others, our real motive was to destroy evil; we should look for evil where it is certain to be found, and that is in our own hearts. Dietrich Bonhoeffer, The Cost of Discipleship
