Alas, alas - Herself abominates my puns, though at times amused.

You would have enjoyed the acoustics and the windsong - your flute would be out.

Groans and annoyance are usually reactions from non-punsters.

Punsters will usually NOT react, or try to top it, with occasionally Oscar Wilde's "I wish I had said that." You know the rejoinder to that one.
