By whom was it declared nude recreation week? What is the history of it?
I never met anyone that I could not learn something from.

It is promoted by AANR. I can find no history of the event, but recall it has happen in previous years.

Attendance is usually quite good at nudist resorts over the holiday weekend, so it is a good time to visit for the day, maybe camp out if you can arrange a vacation this week.
Now if AANR has somehow arranged it so that it is legal to be nude in any and every city park and state park across America this week, we would really celebrate.

A great idea Ramblinman but AANR's focus is upon member clubs, not city parks, beaches (they do report on free beaches such as Haulover) but their financial support comes from members and support of clubs/resorts.
