A "strip" can also be a long collection of something, such as a group of stores (a "strip mall"), or a collection of comic sketches (a "comic strip"), a length of something such as a "strip of fabric" or a "strip of paper".

When it comes to "forums", in is common for them to "weave" in and out of the original intent of the original post. That is where the term, "thread" comes from.

However, as "naturists", of course, we tend to be a bit averse to "threads" or anything related to "fabric", so we often choose to use the term "strip", which is also apripo for a "naturist" site as that is what we often must do in order to get into the "proper" attire (or lack thereof). :D

Microsoft Outlook started calling stuff "Ribbons" and it like to drove us crazy when users complained, "I don't see no ribbons here!"

I want us to have a games page filled with arcade games.
They can run on Java and we could have tournaments.

I still can't post in many threads. And some of them I do not see how they can turn into troll material. Funny thing is, the forum I wanted to post in is titled "Anything goes here!"

It seems that if you really want to increase participation here, you should just open it up. Moderators should be able to handle it from there!

MountainDog,

The reason you cannot access that forum is because you do not have enough posts. You need to be a "Permanent Resident" (25 posts) in order to gain access to that particular forum and several others. (As of this post, you are currently only at 18).
