How to "Bless" another member

Postby Webmaster » Mon Nov 20, 2006 5:02 pm

I've had a few people that have asked about blessing another member, and a couple that don't see the links for it. I thought I'd explain how to do this to clear up any questions.

When you want to Bless another member by giving them some of you blessings, you will need to click on the link attached to their user information in the post that blessed you.

As an example, let's say I wanted to Bless Christ Centered Mom for her message in the thread "An update".

I find the post she did and look for the "Donate" link on the left side under her information:

When I click on the link the screen will change to look something like this:

Now granted I've made some notes so you'll understand the screen better, but you get the idea.

I fill in the information and click Donate, and that's it. I'll be taken back to the same post where I clicked the Donate link.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

It works! I just gave you a "token blessing," WM. :)

How are blessings originally assigned?

Postby Jim1000 » Tue May 08, 2007 11:09 pm

OK, I think I understand how to donate blessings from my own account to someone else, but how are the blessings bestowed upon me in the first place? Seems like anytime I post, a random fractional blessing is allotted to me? Is this accurate? Thanks.

I tried but it didn't work for me. I still have the blessings I tried to give to someone, and he didn't receive them. I followed the instructions exactly.

Yes, you earn blessings for each post, one blessing per so many words. (I don't have the exact figures.) So just keep posting and the blessings will add up. :)

Check again now. Sometimes those things take a moment or two to show up. If it's still not showing, try again.
