Gender settings

Postby Webmaster » Fri Feb 13, 2009 12:17 pm

I just noticed something that had to make me laugh, but I also thought it needed addressing.

In your profiles at the bottom of the page is a field titled Gender. In reviewing some of the profiles I realized that most of the males were showing as females.

I'm requesting that everyone check their own profile and change your gender to the correct one.

It will solve some confusion for us. :)

I've also added the gender as a required field for when people register to prevent this from happening again. The only people that will be able to see your gender are the staff members, this being set for your own safety.

Webmaster, where do you access your profile? I can't find it on the main page.

There should be a link to "User Control Panel" on the left panel of the screen under your user name and avatar, if you have one.

After you click on "User Control Panel", you should see a "Profile" tab on the top of the screen.

Should I, with 10 messages, be able to see and post to the men's section? It says all male villagers can post, but I can't even view. Yes, I have checked my profile settings, and even tried to unset and reset, but still can't get in. Am I missing something?

Thx.

Webmaster, my wife and I both use this site. In fact, our ID is 'mid_tn_cpl' (for couple). We also use this ID on other nudist sites, always marking us as a 'couple' where we can. On some sites when it was only Male/Female, and we listed as Female, we got all sorts of inquiries from Males.

Would/Could you add the word 'couple' to the gender here?

Sometimes the system does not automatically advance permissions. I have forced them for you prophetROYALTY7.

You should be good to go now.

I have the same problem as others mentioned above. I have tried to visit the men's forum and I am denied access. I have checked the control panel and everything is fine.

I'm still having this same problem too, and I can't post on several other areas.

That area is fixed. Please let me know of other areas you are having difficulty with.

Looks like that fixed the other areas too. I can now respond to posts in other threads.

I agree with mid_tn_cpl. My wife are in this together. I am a male and she is... you guessed it! We'd love to see a couple button since we would like to fellowship with other Christian couples and not curious singles.
