Does anyone know where a copy of this Gospel can be obtained?

There is a whole page of translations and commentaries of the Gospel of Thomas here...
http://www.earlychristianwritings.com/thomas.html

I do not know what your interest in the Gospel of Thomas is, however, in case you do not know, the Gospel of Thomas is found in a collection of heretic teachings by third century Gnostics. These are not the writings of the Apostle Thomas ("Doubting Thomas"). Therefore, I would not give them much value in terms of Christian literature and, in fact, would find them to be very dangerous instead.

Some think of the Gospel of Thomas and others of that ilk as providing useful light on the Urtext of the evangels. Me, I am not convinced one can go that far with it. My mama rather [advanced academic Episcoplalian] liked Thomas - she never deigned to tell me why.

Like many "advanced academics", she may have appreciated the eclectic air of the Gnostic gospels. Even the name, "gnostic", points to "knowledge", a "secret" knowledge that supposedly only they received, giving them a level of superiority over everyone else... not that your mama was seeking such acclaim. However, it is my experience that knowledgeable people tend to prefer the company, conversations and writings of other knowledgeable people.

I have read portions of that writing. I found it to be questionable and read it only with the understanding that it is NOT scripture. It holds no more authority than a Grishim novel. I may have spelled his name wrong.
