POLL - Has your church ever found out you practice naturism?

Postby natman » Tue Dec 06, 2011 6:18 pm

How many times has a church or congregation that you were considering joining or were a member of found out that you were a practicing naturist and you have you gotten a positive or largely tolerant reaction.

(These poll responses are confidential and can be changed later on if your situation changes.)

Could an unknown response be included?
God Bless.

I entered "never" because even though individuals at several churches know about my naturism, it's not common knowledge at any church I've attended regularly since I embraced social nudity.

The pastors of three churches "found out" by me telling the them. Actually, one of them looked me up online and found out that way. Then he told me that they couldn't have a nudist representing their church, and that "God wouldn't be pleased with it anyway."

After nearly 11 years in social nudity, I've finally found a church where no one seems to have a problem with me living in a nudist resort. Several people at the church have even picked me up or brought me home--coming right to my RV.

Well, I think that if you're not a little weird, you're not human. :D

I do not know how many or how far the word has gone, gut I asked the pastor for a character reference when I applied for membership at my local clothes-free club. Also asked the pastor at my prior church

Nope, it would probably be frowned upon, even tho we have not been involved in "social " nudity

Not likely soon to be faced with this issue, but I got a note from an old friend who is assuming I am someone I am not. Like Thomas More in A Man For All Seasons, I kdeep my mouth shut so long I can - but if you have tp choose between lying andf standing up to be counted.

People I know divide into thlose who would be shocked at Christianity, those who would be shocked at nudity, those who would b e shocked at my incorrect political stances.

For this friend, I think my NOT being a good progrdssive academic will be the hardest - ant thagt ois whaT I need to reveal.

It will be interesting to see if she remains a friend.
