What a time for it

Postby Petros » Sun Dec 25, 2016 12:40 am

We just heard this evening - her baby brother of Series A is having Heart Issue #4 - if it isn't #5. Clearly he came through the others - but not that easily and they keep coming. The family is rather concerned. Your prayers appreciated.

Sorry to learn of you wife's brother's cardiac episodes. My father suffered at least three major ones before finally succumbing to the last. Ironically, when, as afar as I know, he first started to experiencing heart problems he'd sit up on the side of the bed and smoke a cigarette until the pain subsided then lay down and fall back to sleep. A major event happened while at work as a carpenter on a roof top. he was able to climb down and go next door to ask for help. It led to triple by-pass surgery. He survived about ten more years before suffering two more in a hospital and peacefully succumbing to the last.

Best wishes to all during your family's time of need Petros.

Thanks. Word is he is comfortable and stable though not happy about it, Ironically, he is about the most laid back in the family, not a smoker.

Re your dad - the manm who helped us get this place livable way back was on a roof job - took a step back from what he wsas doing and went down, did NOT survive.

Glad your BIL is doing okay. Sorry about the other man's death but none of us will ever get out alive.

Turns out this is the fixing of the stent - it clogs up every 5=7 years, seems like.
