Adam and Eve, more accurately

Postby Maverick » Tue Jun 20, 2017 7:43 pm

I receive the Word of the Day emails from Dictionary.com and one a few days back included a picture of 8-bit Adam and Eve in fig leaves to promote a list of "The Oldest Words In The English Language": http://www.dictionary.com/slideshows/oldest-english-words

Original picture:

I took it upon myself to make the representation more true to the Biblical account, not strictly adhering to 8-bit pixelation:

So good, so far. Now, as we all descended from them, I think the flesh tone needs to be in about the middle of today's human extremes. I also doubt razors had been invented yet.

And here I assumed that our original parents already had a "fungus-among-us".

Adam and Eve 2.0 to be announced soon... maybe.

Jim, are you saying you think they need more body hair? Or longer head hair for Adam?

It depends on WHEN the shot was taken and HOW MUCH hair was created pregrown.

No navels!

Excellent!

And everybody knows Adam's long hair was tied behind his back :-).

(Maybe Eve's pubic hair should be inverted. Everybody's a critic, right?)

Body hair varies in its visibility. A crude knife can cut hair shorter. But an adult male without a razor has a beard in most humans.
