Howdy from west Fort Worth, Texas

Postby RatherBSailin » Wed Mar 28, 2018 7:04 pm

I'm recently retired; married to the kindest, gentlest, most beautiful woman I know; have 2 incredible adult kids and a golden retriever. I love sailing (and almost any outdoor activity), woodworking, music and photography. I exercise to stay healthy and started running around age 55. Since then I have completed 3 marathons, many shorter races and, recently, my first sprint triathlon. In addition to a strong Christian faith, I have adopted several basic life principles, including (but not limited to):

Life is too short, and far too unpredictable, to save desert until the end of the meal.
He who laughs, ... lasts.
Never interfere with another person's generosity.
The most important things in life are not complex, they're simple, ... but difficult.

OK. You've spent enough time reading. Get out of your chair and move around a bit:) As for me, ... I'd rather be sailing.

Howdy RatherB sailin, I see similarities in the things we are doing in our retired lives...good to find kindred. Sailing is not one of them though :) I do wonder how great it would be to sail nude though. Welcome to CNV and looking forward to read more posts from you...enjoy.

Welcome from Rockwall, TX the other side of DFW on Lake Ray Hubbard. Are you aware of AANR's 5k nude racing series?

Hello and welcome from NW Missouri, where we're fixin' to have measurable snow on Easter.

Hope to hear more about you and your walk of faith. Enjoy the fellowship here.

Ah... nude sailing... closest I got to that was Windsurfing on Lake Bonny (South Australia) out from Pelican Point Nudist Resort... until the mast footing gave way and I had to return to shore. Up on the Great Barrier Reef you sometimes get people sailing naked... came across one couple who came ashore naked on Nudey Beach then walked along it for a while... but it's probably not as prevalent as it could be up there.

It was the nude 5K series that introduced me to naturism several years ago. I get to as many of the races as I can each year. Love to run naked:)
